What is the 30% rule for credit cards? ›What is a good credit utilization ratio? Is 20 credit cards bad? ›There's no such thing as a bad number of credit cards to have, but having more cards than you can successfully manage may do more harm than good. Can you live off credit card rewards? ›Still, you might be able to live off of them for a while. In some cases, redemption options include requesting your reward points as cash payment through a check or direct deposit, which you can then use to pay for your next credit card payment.
What is the best way to spend reward points? ›The rule of thumb is to redeem your points for 1 cent per point or more to be sure you're getting a good deal.
